Portrait or Personal Image - Raymond H Laurence

I have dabbled in photography and developing in the darkroom for over thirty years, first shooting with a Minolta 202 and ending with two Mamiya 645 medium format cameras. I really became passionate about photography about five years ago when I purchased my first digital camera the Nikon D70. Since then, I tend to migrate towards scenic/landscape photography in an attempt to capture the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Today I shoot with a Nikon D700 camera with a complement of five lenses.

Living in Lake Oswego, Oregon (just 10 miles south of Portland), I have access to the Columbia Gorge, the Oregon and Washington Cascades, the Oregon Coast, all in less than two hours in either direction. Needless to say, it is difficult to run out of beautiful subjects to photograph.

My equipment consists of a a D700 FX camera. My lenses are all Nikkor and are as follows:

Nikkor AF-S 17-35mm f/2.8D ED Wide-angle
Nikkor AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8G ED
Nikkor AF 85mm f/1.4D
Nikkor AF MICRO 105mm f/2.8D
Nikkor AF-S VR 70-200mm f/2.8G ED
Nikkor TC-20E III

Singh Ray Polarizing filter
Singh Ray Neutral Density Filters
Manfrotto Tripod and Head
Gitzo Carbon Fiber Tripod

My Software Work flow is as follows:
